Well - I tried and tried to rip Conan Uncut, and Life Force uncut (1CD) - but in the end they all came out shit!!!

So from now on - I'll have my friend make a 1:1 DVD copy and send whoever here a copy that wants to rip 'em.

Guess I just suck at encoding. Believe me I tried many times - and even reformatted to see if that would help - then Bellsouth said I didn't pay my DSL account and dropped me (even though it's supposed to be automatically charged to my credit card). And I spent a few weeks trying to get back online. Now I'm back - but damn this sucks.

I've ripped DVD's before without problems. Now all of a sudden my rips either have perfect video with choppy audio or perfect audio with bizarre video anomolies. So I will say if anyone still wants a one CD version of Life Force - I'll have my friend do a 1:1 copy and mail the DVD copy to one of you guys to rip - I give the hell up.

Already tried that page and it did not help. That's what pisses me off!!! I've ripped over 20 DVD's and never had any of these issues before. I tried adding and deleting codecs, tried DVDx, Dr. DivX, and everything in between. I suspect that these DVd's are copy protected - as I've never had any issues before.

Like I said - I'm willing to let my friend make a 1:1 DVD copy and mail it out at my expense to anyone willing to rip 'em (Conan uncut and Life Force uncut).

hehe, ive ripped a few dvds. probably around 100 or so, though i do have problems with doing them on occasion.
i think there are already rips of conan and lifeforce floating around the mule, and both quite well spread. if your having problems with ripping, i could 'talk you thru' on icq if u want. ive messed with gordian knot's settings, and have been using it for about a year now. ive gotten probably every error possible when ripping, all sorts of screwed up rips, but ive ironed out all the problems ive gotten, so i can probably help you out thru icq if u want.

Conan I got just the other day..I got a rip of Lifefore uncut if there isn't any validated links for it already.
