Hello Mr Scream, they mention leeching and the like in the update list, so hopefully it is even better.

I hate all this emule mod stuff!!!
You always end up trying a different mod becuase you think you'll get better speeds / more connections with it!
I love the look of black hand and the functionality, but it just does not work for me
Servers keep telling me my port is blocked and when i get connected to a known server I get very little sources!
Anyway theres probably a work around, but i've decided to stick to the sivka mod I've been using for months now, because... well..... it works :!:
I get good speeds and it sorts out them leechers and naughty people!
The grass is always greener on the otherside (blackhand etc) but at least I have grass on this side (sivka!) LOL

Out of interest is anybody using Emule behind a Hardware Router and if so what mod and settings are they using and have you seen changes in your up and down speeds since installing it?

Just remote web served to emule from work, and what do you know!
Sivka 10a2b is what I use
And what I'm sticking to!
It's flying at the moment from 60k-110k.
Sivka rulez

Bloody hell! I'll never install TBH again! It has many, many great features, that's for sure, but it's completely unstable. It keeps crashing on me every hour. Today was the first time from weeks my mule had to do ANY rehashing, and it had to do it twice because of the crashes.
Back to Athlazan, the most stable mod ever.

yup v3a totally screwed me over aswell ....i've gone back to v3 now but it is lacking a few bug tweaks but apparently they are releasing a new version to combat the known.met problem and a few other bugs that leaked out in the v3a release so i'll keep my fingers crossed that is a better release :|

@ Polityk & Bassline.
Proves my point about always searching for the elusive BETTER emule mod.
I'm sticking with sivka untill it starts causing me troubles!!!

Not a bad mod at all, but the CPU/Memory usage is ludicrous, If I go to Shared files and try to do ANYTHING it takes about 5 minutes just for the right click menu to appear
Also, is no-one downloading Halloween films from me, I haven't seen one request since switching to that mod, is it me, have I missed a setting?
What should the Release Prio be set to 32,64,128,256,512 ?
And why doesn't community sharing seem to work?
It's a nice mod, BUT I need some help with it - Spud??

turn off 'Spread bar (UL Part History)' PC_Arcade wrote: | What should the Release Prio be set to 32,64,128,256,512 ? |
It's up to you - when you disable it release prio is the same as in official client (I think) and if you enable you can set it higher and higher. And you have also option 'powershare' PC_Arcade wrote: | And why doesn't community sharing seem to work? |
works for me...
