hello all i'm new to joining up i have been using this site for a while though for all my horror and sc-fi etc needs firstly i would like to say thank you to all the people who run this site and also to the other users who upload such great stuff i am yet to have uploaded anything as yet primarily becasue i don't know how i shall be seeking out the "how to make uploads bit" asap the only thing is most rare stuff i get is either on vhs or i get off here! but i am sure some day soon i will find somthing worthy too share with you all other than that just a little word of advice to other gore and horro fans etc i have scored quite a few films of here that we're not exactly all they are cracked up to be in the descriptions! one of wich is the curse of pirate death i was excpeting somthing a little more full on and less cheesy! basically the film is utter garbage... but yeah it was my fault as i didn't research it enough! so yeah i guess most of you long tiomers would know by now idbm etc is the best place to go for sourcing and researching films!! i highly reccomend this before you waste bandwidth and h/d space on poo! many if not most new school "gore" or horror films are really terribly made with minimal or no plot or decent monsters or action, gore at all so be super careful if u are excpecting a half decent "dead" clone only to come out look like scream or dawsons creek style slasher flick etc lol my top 5 films i have scored here recently would be !! THE QUICK AND THE UNDEAD! BRILLIANT COUNTESS DRACULA (OLD SCHOOL HAMMER FLICK ABOUT COUNTESS BATHORY) THE AUGUST MORDUM SERIES ( ULTRA BRUTAL GORE/PERVERSION) MUST BE SEEN TO BE BELIEVED WAR LORDS OF ATLANTIS "1978" KILLER OLD FILM THAT WHOOPS THE SHIT OUT OF 20'000 LEAUGES ANY DAY AFTER SUNDOWN WICH IS A VAMPIRE FLICK BASED IN THE WILD WEST THINK SERGIO LEONE MEETS BELA LUGOSI ANYHOW THATS MY FIRST MASSIVE RANT!! GREETINGS TO ALL DEATH AND GORE FIENDS AND TO ALL FELLOW SHARERS |

Yes, the unfortunate offshoot of horror movies being cheap to make is that 80-90% are shite to mediocre at best. Plot summaries are usually straight from imdb.com. Doing a google and looking up the movies on allmovie.com is a good move if you have limited bandwidth. If like me, you don't really care. Come back and drop your critique in the release threads of course, people are more than welcome to do so |

I have these two, but haven't had the time to watch them, only saw short bits. "Warlords" looks like a very stupid movie I'm gonna love! |

I saw this at the pictures when i was younger, cant remember the film i went to see but this was the film they put on first, when you use to have 2 films. Thinking about it i think it was 'Doc Savage:The Man of bronze" Both good films. |

Watched "After Sundown" lately. Quality was bad, but the movie was OK. Stupid enough to entertain me, at least. Vampires turn out to be some sort of zombies in this movie, guess the director got confused or actually wanted to make a zombie flick and did it on purpose |

Sounds like chinese vampires. Theyre more like zombies but they hop everywhere. |

Bound Heat is a series of films centering around S&M in medieval dungeosn and such. You can try to collect them all and put them in the UEC. |

And here I thought I was the only one who can't get enough of cheesy b-grade indie films. I saw that Curse of the Pirate Death a while back, didn't think it was that bad. The cheese was its most redeeming quality! Haven't seen Countess Dracula but I'm with you on The Quick And The Dead |
