Hey guys,
I know the "favorite something" thread got old very quickly... except not to me but that's not the case. I'm doing an Exploding Heads compilation, so I need suggestions on movies featuring this sweet moment.

Here's the catch: Some other guy already posted a similar (meaning the same) video on youtube, as polite as I am, I got in touch with him, so I'll be doing EXPLODING HEADS PART 2 : THE NEXT GENERATION (still thinking about the title). He got pretty much all the classics covered (scanners, maniac, dawn of the dead and so on).

What I'm looking for the is that scene on an unexpected movie, some underground shit, german splatter, asian stuff, action movies and so on. Imdb has an extensive list, but I need confirmation on some of those, that keyword search can be misleading.

So scracth your head a little and come up with a suggestions! I'll be very thankful, really putting some effort in this, after falling in love with the first video I found out how fun a nice 2min of exploding heads can be.

Bring on the heads! btw I need some boom, meaning regular headshots with blood on the walls won't do, there got to be at least a chunk of the head blown off.

howabout 'The Beyond' when the little girl gets shot in the head?

and as far as fulci goes,I need confirmation on contraband and touch of death, I wonder if zombie has one, but I think only regular headshots on that one

Check all Ittenbach movies. Premutos and Garden of Love have exploding heads for sure.

I think there is a scene in "30 Days Of Night" in which a vampire's head is shot.

that scene in Opera is one of my favorite kills ever, beautifully done...I don't think it it can be classified as a head explosion though, but its a brilliant moment, the bullet hitting the phone afterwards and everything, wonderful.

the wild zero scene looks sweet actually, I remember it had head explosions but thought they were tasteless cgi, maybe not all of them, gotta get that one for sure

anyone recall a specific moment from any other japanese/asian zombie flick? maybe versus, junk, stacy etc... it'd be kinda tought going through all of them just for the search

BTW, I'm editing some of the clips in a way to keep them disguised a little, hidding familiar faces and such, just to have you guys and everyone else guessing the movies, some of them will be you blink you miss kind of moments

And still hoping to get some of the confirmations I asked, please people...or else I'll either give them up or have to download the batch I don't have.

Alien vs preadotr requiem? I heard it had head explosions for sure, so is it human, alien, proper head trauma? too bad there's not a single rip around that looks decent.

BadBugs used to have an animated avatar with an exploding head. Dunno which movie it is from though. Bugs can you tell us?

it's Garden of Love, the one he mentioned earlier... I remember I asked him in a PM and waited anxiously for the reply, that one's juicy... ironically when I got the movie it seemed nowhere near as exciting as the gif... I might apply some slow-mo to that one or something...

Is CGI head explosion considered a cheat? I mean we want physical obliteration goodness here.

no Avanze, I'd not consider it a cheat... I'm including several of those actually... but there's just too much of BAD cgi one can handle, some crap are not even deserving a spot in my video, some will be there for numbers sake, in a quick cut editing moment of booms maybe but overall. many of today moments are cgi or at least a little cgi assisted, some end up being quite good as you'll see.

Btw, the one in deadly friend is the sweetest thing, and I'm also including the little aftermath moment with the incredibly fake headless body twicthing around, priceless

Incredibly no one mentioned CHOPPING MALL yet, that's one of the top 5 everybody seem to recall, and I couldn't agree more, it's one entertaining head explosion.

I would definitely say the explosion of the head in Taxidermia. It's early on in the movie, when the dude gets shot in the head after fucking a dead pig.

Yeah that's the one. I'ts pretty much an awesome movie (even after the head explosion) Also in the movie Inside (The actual title is actually french for inside, but I dont remember what it is, A L Interior or something like that) Theres half of a head exploding. Looks pretty awesome. not to mention you get to see a bunch of people killed with scissors, and a pregnant chick get her stomach cut open to take out the baby. The headshot is about halfway through.

Just saw the first one, nice. Cannot wait for yours, but please not The Next Generation, that sounds tacky and will not do the compilation justice.

I believe you gonna like mine... let's just say that. I just fear people complain about some inclusions, just keep in mind it's an exploding heads compilation , not strictly a gore video... though it'll be gory as f**k

and about the title, that was actually the first time I approached the guy who made the first one, I told him I wanted to make a sequel with stuff he was missing, then he came up with the "next generation" idea, I kept that as a provisory "working title" but I have erased that from my folder... Since I'm including pretty much all his movies and making this a big fucking fat video, now I'm thinking more of a 80's style Part II , very simple... or if anything better comes up by the time I'm finished I'll consider using a different title.

And while I'm using some non-horror nice moments and some for the fun of it, I'm also leaving some off (some tv series, horribly done cgi and such), I'm thinking of putting the leftovers together with games, animes, cartoons, stop motion and such and make it a smaller sequel called "part 3 : the bad sequel" or something like that, because part 3 movies are definitely tricky and more than a few times turn out quite crappy, tend to be cheesy sequels and everything.

My college just started again, so Exploding Heads part II might be left to be finished in a month or so while I release one or two other quick projects I have, one will be a "miscarriage" compilation, something I'm calling bloody birth right now, expect belly explosions, pregnant women in danger and bizarre birth sequences.
