There's two types of people in this world; those that get it and those that don't. Ravenous is a gem. Its a good film and one that relative few people have seen.... it was a very good choice.

I'll give it a third time one day. It's been around 1000 other movies since I watched it. Just thinking that someone didn't get it, is kinda weak imo. Maybe you're right and maybe I didn't get it, but it might also be that I did get it, but just did not like it. You just assume the first and state your opinion as some sort of fact. I don't like that. As I have already seen it, nothing will be a spoiler to me, so tell me, what makes this film so brilliant? OK, back to the very good football game that is on now: AC Milan - Arsenal

Why not? Like I said, it's quite a while ago, I might think differently of it now. I remember watching it the second time whilst thinking about what I thought of it the first time. I'll try to go into it with an open mind. I don't get this link, it's for a movie called The Meat Trade (2008). Are there similarities between that one and Ravenous? btw: which one is the better rip? The Knatz or the Txxz?

Ah, OK. DLing the Knatz now. I'll post a review when I'm done watching it. By reading the reviews on imdb I can't imagine that I didn't like it before, but we'll see.

From what I gather here: http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=1608It would be the R1..anamorphic at 1:66 plus a 5.1 ac3....plus it has that 30 minute docu with it...The italian extra is only in Italian..The picture might be better at 1:74 unless what they did is crop the crap out of the top and bottom to make it that way....haven't seen screen comparisons. The audio for the italian is only a 2.0.You get the snazzy little 8 page booklet with the R1 release as well

Hmmm... I have the German uncut DVD of this which is said to be 1,85:1 (16:9) on several sites. I'll check it when I get home tomorrow night.
Edit: found a site on which it is labeled with 1,66:1. I'll check it despite of that.

Yeah...sometimes the box itself states a wrong AR....Apperently in this case its the same thing....liek I said though...how did they achieve that AR though? Did they just turn around and crop the top and bottom from 1:66? Usually that site is right on...I want the handy dandy notebook that comes with it

You have to see the classics first!
5 - Psycho 4 - Carrie 3 - Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931) 2 - The Invisible Man (1933) 1 - Bride of Frankenstein
Too easy!

Hmmm... Even the cover of the DVD says 1.85:1. Can someone post some screens to compare it with my version? Let it be the humping on the grave.

I'd like to add Session 9 to the list of more obscure films everyone should see. I bought it today for 3 Euros
