Did anyone else have a flutter on the midgets (Grand National :wacky: )?

I got £40 back on a £10 bet through an affiliate scheme so decided to have a bet since i had to wage the money to get £40. I backed Comply or Die to win outright yesterday at great odds, 11.5 (11.5/1) on an £8.25... has won me £86, and with the £40 i get through the affiliates I've done alright for myself. And its provided an evenings entertainment since its obviously a lot more fun if there's money riding on it.

The ironic thing is I don't even like midgets. :googley:

Anyone else lucky?

Well I went with work and I never bet before. So I asked the clerk who he would be on he said he was betting on iron man cause if it did win We'd be rich, so yer, didn't look at the names...

If I had I would have gone with comply or die....such a cool name!

Nope didn't have a bet. I was too pissed up from watching the Pompey/Baggies game, i've just woken up.

Off up the pub again to see a '70's glam rock band :googley:

Including a drunken, stupid one-time-only flirtation with online poker last night (at one point my clean winnings were over £300) combined with some of the most poorly chosen Grand National runners ever witnessed, this weekends gambling losses are now at £200.

:suicide:

I used to be worse than this. Still feel like a complete bell-end for it.

Ah well. Cheer myself up with some smut and horror! :beerchug:

Sorry, miscalculation.

Total lossess, in the last 24 hours, is actually £300.

Whatta dick I am.

Almost a litre of Whisky and a few beers are the only excuse I can now offer.
