Its really annoying but unfortunately with many isps, cable or dsl, the shaping kicks in and your speeds drop + connection resets. Very annoying... takes all the benefits of the speed away :(


It is the lesser of two evils for me. ADSL is still shit here, so speeds are not even close to what I get now. My connection gets cut to 5 meg down for 4 hours if I grab 3 or so Gig in any 4 hour period. Not great but not too bad either. Nothing is permanent, throttle wise, and no more costs are incurred by myself.

imo ADSL is shit unless you can get ADSL2+.

I may consider giving ADSL2+ a go, when I can eventually get it. lol
