Hello I new to the board, I use Utorrent as my download p2p program, when I got to the list of various films offered on the board I see the link for the movies ,avi, iso, etc. Is there something other than U torrent I need to download the films?

Any help we be appreciated, thanks.

Scott

eMule is better for rare stuff, with torrents you get all new releases in a matter of minutes. That said, I still take the old mule for a spin now and then. :)

sites like cinemageddon and others take care of the 'rare' stuff and even some of the rare stuff comes to public trackers to... if you dont know where to look you dont find... dont get me wrong ed2k was a hell of a good p2p back in the beginning of 2000. but now days its pretty dead, just look at the activity we are having on this site.. just an exsample...

but what pisses me off is that there havent been anything worth watching except 'tron legacy' for months now.... there is so much shit released and so long between any worthy show up... it just got me wondering if i have seen everything worth seeing since i started with p2p in 2002...

Torrents certainly do seem more popular with the kiddies these days, I myself no longer use mule because it just ground to a halt one day. I now use newsgroups, and its the same problem: scene content only

scene or not if you really like the movie you buy it anyway... the rare stuff usually aint better than the scene stuff anyway, that cinemageddon have shown... and there wasnt a long time ago i did see a shitbuster rip among the scene releases, so ed2k stuff end up at public trackers too...

neither do I actually at the moment, change isp :p However, I think i might change isp and I will pay the $10 a month, I see it as being impotent not having the ability to use nntp.

Its a simple equation:
Time dicking around, scouring for content, ratio-ing up and trading vs $10.

I value my time more than 10$ :googley: But i can afford to, if you can't then I understand the objection.

Plus with the 10 bucks a month, you don't have to leave your computer on all the time...

Now. tell me, which one is cheaper?

ROFL, yeah!

Btw. I'm not saying don't use this or that. It's a matter of choice. If you're ok with scene quality, go for BT/news, whatever.
But the best rippers I know release on ed2k (ShitBusters for instance ;)).

Chose your poison as one might say. :)
