I've used to post my rips on sharethefiles.com, because it had a lot of visitors and was quite popular. My latest rip/post does not show up. After posting I got a message saying that the post needs to be verified by an admin. Then I posted a question on this in another sub-forum, resulting in the same message. That was weeks ago. None of my posts got verified. Currently the site is not accessible. I get a http authentication dialog in the browser. Does anybody know a good alternative to STF where posting rips is reasonable? |

There aren't many ed2k sites still active. https://phantomp2p.com/forum/index.php http://www.tugashare.in/index.php http://www.pootzforce.org/ https://www.therostrum.net/portal.php will get you some clicks for your releases but they're not as active as STF. |

Username: share Password: thefiles There is a hint that only shows up in Firefox "user share pass thefiles" not other browsers like Chrome. Probably too many evil bots were scraping the site. It's probably going to be a permanent fixture from now on. |

Yep, spam is a big fucking problem.  That's why registrations have been closed on sBiG for ages... not that any new users would want to register anyway. Also, I figure, if someone wants an account, let them show they're serious about it by finding and aking me (or Spud for that matter).
