unfortunately last week, my beloved cat cookie died....(we think he was hit by a car) and ever since then, i'm feeling so lost and lonely without the little s**t...(and believe me, he was a little s**t)...i just don't know what to do with myself....i keep expecting him to walk in my room and go to the fridge, waiting for his prawns...(he was spoilt)....or for him to race into my room running round like a mad thing...(even tho' he only had three legs)....he was my baby.....i've lost cats before, but this has hit me the hardest for some reason....anyway, thx for listening, and i'm ok, really...i have my pics and memories....R.I.P. COOKIE

Sorry for your loss. I hated cats, but my wife has two and I've grown quite attached to them. It´s allways hard to lose a pet.

It's hard to lose anything you loved. You must not think that he is lost. He went ahead. You'll meet him later.

Yeah. You might have lost his physical representation, but his memory will always remain with you.

Loosing pets is never easy. Usually when I think about the pets I've lost, my mind just
sort of shuts down. The only thing that I can take comfort in is remembering good things
about him/her. As long as I can remember, I don't feel as bad. My condolences Bag Woman...

I remember when my cat died, had her for my whole life at that point, she lived for almost 17 years! Even in her last year she would run and climb trees, though she was losing her teeth and becoming frail. Found her crying in the tub one night, and she wouldn't move, just cried and cried for me. Breaks my heart. I got scared last month, when my cat now (who I swear is the other reincarnated) started peeing blood, thought she was a goner... but a $700USD vet bill later, shes doing ok now. Im sorry for your loss, but hey its easy to fall in love with a new kitten! Just don't bite that one's leg off this time.

thanks grindcallus...i paid around £320.00 (not including taxis and painkillers and antibiotics) to have cookie's leg amputated (i cried then as well). i would pay a million pounds to have him back. still feeling lost without him. as for another kitten/cat i'm not going to have anymore...it hurts too much when something happens to them. but glad your cat's doing ok, what was the matter with her? we had one cat who lived til she was 19, she was a sweetie. i hope your cat lives a very long and happy life....and thanks again

i have 2 new kittens guys.... pepsi was the first in may (i swear she's cookie come back), she's black and naughty as hell. tizer is a ginger (with a little white under his chin) stripey male which i got 2 weeks ago. they drive me up the wall with their antics, but they've put a smile on my face and i'm glad i got them.
