looks kinda interesting aswell.....satan see if you can rent and rip both

some movies you just have to have the dvd for IMO.....some movies you just get cuz they are cheap and wortha watch

I don't know what it is like where you live but in my town the rental dvd shop only tends to stick with the big budget movies and current releases and you would have no chance of getting any of these low budget movies unless you did buy em :|

I'll start doing svcd's then if I rip.

That way I capture the whole menu and chapters.=)

For most DVD's requested here, you won't be able to tell teh differance on a televison or Plasma screen.

only got a blockbusters here and they tend 2 only have mainstream releases and i heard somewhere they sometimes have 'special' versions of films that may have slight cuts etc (sorta like tv movie versions) but could have been misled. but when a dvd cost like 6 nuggets is not so bad :)

why do we want menu and chapters?...it's the movie i wanna watch :?

and svcd's take up 2 cd's usually unless they are ksvcd/kvcd so why not rip em as divx/xvid at 700mb and only need one cd

Agreed, I too would request a divx/xvid rip. If I want menus and crap and don't want to buy a film I use my old trusty DVD-r and do a straight copy (or re-encoded). I'm not a fan of svcd for the reason bassline seems to not want them.

But they are good for people with crap pcs though, without tvout or that struggle with divx, just my setup has decent tvout so i don't download svcds at all (I have like 2 excluding TS/CAMs lol)

Yeah, sounds like a good idea John_Doe. On the subject of car/road horror movies, anyone seen 'Black Cadillac'? I watched it a couple weeks ago and thought it was quite good, really enjoyed it.

Still needed?

I found the store, but is out.

They're going to call when the person returns it.
