I've posted this on every forum on every site in the freakin world for the last year and a half, but somebody please please please do
'The Haunting'. The original B&W one from 1963.
its not at any stores in my area, and i have no credit cards to buy from online.
oh, well, i go christmass shopping today, if i find it, i'll rip it myself,(i've never been able to rip a movie correctly), but i'll try, if i find it.

I have definately seen the original of the movie somewhere but unfortunately it was a while back and I'm not sure whether they tagged it with 1963 or not. I'll have a scout around for it.

I finally had to break down and buy a copy of this from amazon. Should get in the mail any day. My rips are pretty poor, but i'd try to rip it if anyone else wants it. I may be the only one on the planet who wants this one, but i think it may be a better movie than 'night of the lepus'.
At least i hope it is.

the original the haunting is a classic. I'd love to see a rip.
As for doing a decent rip, using gknot is the best way to go.

Thats what i use, but it always takes like 80 hours to complete.
I dont think they should take that long.
I got a p2 450mhz with 256mb ram
also I got a p2 333mhz 256mb that i can commit fully to rip+encoding, but it says like a 100 hours till completing.
I use the default setting for encoding, but if there's a better, faster way let me know as i got a few dvd's.
and by a few i mean 1000's of 'em.

Press ctrl-alt-del and switch vdub /nandub to normal priority once it starts encoding.
Speeds things right up
