First I had this on my list
A Nightmare On Elm Street 7 - Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994).avi
then sharereactor posted this
A Nightmare On Elm Street 7 New Nightmare (1994).avi

which I guess is probably the same file with a different hash, since the filesize and biterate are the same..

but then I found this:
A Nightmare on Elm Street 7 - Wes Cravens New Nightmare.avi

and even though the filesize is about 70 mb less (and so is the quality) it clocks in at 1:52 runtime, whereas the others are a mere 1:44! I don't want a cut version! Are the credits cut or something in the other ones?

PS: http://www.imdb.com/Title?0111686 also says it's supposed to be 1:52, although Spud says imdb are usually wrong..

They will be from different regions ;)

I'd go for the shreareactor one, simply because if it's on their main page more people will be sharing it (even if it did start out as the wrong hash).

This movie, will not be cut. It doesn't have any scenes that warrent it:

most of it frame rate difference, PAL = 25fps, NTSC = 29.7fps (i always forget what figure it is lol).

That would account for 8minutes easily.

yep,
its cause we ntsc 29.9700 fps user's are naturally smarter, faster, with quicker synapse response from our optical nerves. Yep,we be the master race. I think its due to our diet of twinkiee dinks and ho-ho's, instead of things made from intestines and stomachs boiled in bile.

or,
we liberated the extra 4.9700 frames in our war against antartica. The penguins didnt need them, and we would have gotten around to slaughtering them eventually, anyways.

our resolutions are diffent too. i think ntsc is 352x240 and pal is 352x288. and i think the field refresh rate is different too.

The problem is that on your crummy american made tvs, your getting eye cancer  Not like our quality communist televisions. Yes the reason why no1 can program a VCR is because the instructions are in Russian!

Also it's worth noting that PAL has better image and colour quality, and a larger resolution. If your wanting a full cinema experience, cinema's use a frame rate of 23fps, slower than both PAL and NTSC videos.

If you've seen fight club you'll know what's in the extra 4.9700 frames...
:D
