Erm, don't get angry. If you like werewolfs this might hurt: This series absolutely sucked. In my opinion werwolf and the old hulk series with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferringo are exactly the same. The only difference is, that the one turned green and the other furry. You can even count: both had to turn in each episode exactly two times (few exceptions).

And pilots are usually better than the following episodes. No exception here. But I saw only season one. Maybe the later seasons were better.

In my experience pilots are substantially worse, ie. Firefly, Buffy. Angel, Red Dwarf, etc.
Two much establishing plot, not enough character developement and the factors that make a series truley great :)

That said if the pilot isn't very good, and the series ain't very good... well i guess it's no good at all :(

If there's a petition for DVD release the show must have some fans though.

Yeah, I mostly agree, except for 'Brimstone'. The pilot for that was so amazingly cool. It had a demon priest, escaped from hell and killing of choir boys! Yeay!

 Oh yeah! I've been after this series for years! Especially since my VHS tapes of the series disappeared. My guess is, they grew hair, arms, & legs and ran off in the middle of a Full Moon. Anyways, here's some info:

http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/Sh ... owid-5885/

4 part Pilot + 28 additional episodes
