i swear on LSD, great mod, great speed, good upload, constant updates. considered in most places one of the best mods if not the best. so to say LSD is the new Tarod.

right now i'm using The Black Hand v2a
http://theblackhand.sourceforge.net/

found it to be superb for uploading with the powershare option, downloading has been better than i have previously had using other mods but since i seldom go for largely sourced files it never really pushes my limit but thats not the mods fault.
I know a few of the other community members are also using this mod Takyon/d0c/manzarek to name a few and i'd be interested to get there views so far on there use of this mod :D

overall i'd say an excellent mod 8)

i used to use LSD but haven't checked there latest updates, does it have the A4AF option, powershare and community/hash protection options now?....i first used LSD as it was one of the few if not only mod that had good source control eg drop high/NNS/Full and reloading previous sources but found without the hash protection my clients hash was stolen and i lost my good credit ratings

hash protection has been implemented in the official emule anyways, so yes, it does have those options, it has no explicit powershare feature, but it has an option to push files put on release priority, which works quite well, so it?s about the same i guess. LSD doesn?t have so many flashy options and features, but great small ones, like pushing rare and small files e.g.

How do people get userhashes stolen?

Are you on a static IP or something?

Been using 25b from day 1 use of emule, back in January.

Never had this problem, to my knowledge?
/my IP is dynamic.

Hey, but thanks for all the comments, like to hear more.=)
/not like 30b will come out within the next month or anything.

stolen userhashes are a thing of the past, people are getting hysterical about it, but recent mods have all the protection, so no need to worry.

i might give the new LSD a go if anything starts playing up with the black hand mod then...cheers for the feedback :D

@Satan i've got no idea how the hash was stolen but i know mine was :matrix:
and i also found out paul screams was stolen and he had no idea at the time but it was a definate hash thief as i checked with him about what he was d/l from me at that time and someone else was in my queue on the same hash getting another file

Not quite sure about this, but guess it works like this: the bad guy gets in your queue for a file and the hash exchange takes place. Instead of only using your hash for the queue push-up (all known clients/hashes are stored in known.dat with respective ul/dl amounts) he drops his old hash and uses yours instead. As you're a generally good guy 8) which uploaded a lot of this file he won't start at the end of other queues but right next to you. Without uploading a single byte. The first consequence is that you and the bastard share the same hash: you're raising your ul/dl ratio with uploads and both of you are lowering it with downloads. As the ratio gets worse, your queue climbing speed gets worse and worse. When he squezes you, the bastard simply drops your now useless hash and steals another one. Also, some clients notice that your hash is now carried by two users and as they can't know which one of them is really you, they'll drop both of them.

I am using Blackhand, nice and sweet mate, altho it has a few minor bugs, nothing important like crashes or anything, just seems to be a little slow updating info on the screen sometimes, altho most users have not had this problem, just me a few others. the powershare and upload options are shit hot tho. I upped 1.2 gig of Darkness for Bassline in a couple of days, and I was offline half the time with a self destructing net connection. :matrix:

after every client change, the hash normally changes I've noted

@bassline, the powersharing features are because of the ZZUL patch, and all the features of blackhand are in sivka-athalazan-gnaddelwarz which I use
http://www.emule-project.net/board/inde ... opic=27604

Plus anyother mod that implements that patch :) I haven't tried LSD mod for a long time but I suspect it will work as well as that one does if it has ZZUL. I can download very fast/line max and upload line max so there's no point me changing :)
