i have downloaded emule verycd and emule v4.7 and it worked for a couple of days but recently when i tried to start the programs they btoh freezes and crashes everytime so i was wondering what i could do to fix this problem

Do a clean install.
-completely uninstall emule and delete the emule folder

Install the official client
-www.emule-project.net

If you have been using different mods/versions of emule, then you may have some corrupted files. All of your settings will be lost, but it is a good way to clean things up.
