It's an old compaq p4 2.4Ghz 1gb ram (yeah I know, not that bad, but it's a spare
) - It's huge overkill for the software though, CPU usage rarely goes over 3%
It's running 2 intel pro 100 nics, 1 connected to the cable modem, the other connected to a managed switch which the other wired PCs are connected to.
The wireless card is an RTL-2560 chipset (made by Cnet - some Chinese no brand thing)
The reason for choosing Pfsense is that it's one of very few that support multiple WANs, although I now only have the one WAN I'm more than happy with PfSense and so I've stuck with it
