Which mod to use?

Hi! I'm using Emule 0.30a and I want to change to a mod that allows community sharing for HHAH members. Which one do you suggest and what's the best way to go about installing the mod? Thanks!

Try this site..it has many mods.You will need to register to view I think which involves an email and username and pass

I use LSD but I know others will swear by their own mods..Basically it is just finding the right one that will work the best with your system,so get a few and then go from there.

I went for EmulePlus v1h and everything seems fine so far. I hope to see plenty of HHAHers in my uploads! Goodnight...

I use blackhand & sivka! But would recommend LSD to!

In the days we live in now, follow the advise above try out a few, but I strongley recommend using a mod with anti community settings and anti hash thief settings!

Leechers are rife on the network!

Find a one you like and stick to it if your happy. People wil ALWAYS have their favourite.

If it aint broke don't fix it :lol:

I personally use lsd, it doesn't suck my system dry of ram/cpu time. (I am using a 450mhz K6-2 system eheh)

goto the preferences tab black hand tweaks/official client tweaks and make sure the "show more controls advanced mode" is ticked then check the miscellaneous tab in black hand tweaks and there should be an option that says
"community sharing" tick the enable community string and add HHAH and any other string you wish to boost and there you have it :wink:

In my experience, download speed doesn't change much between mods*. Upload and features do.

Black Hand Mod has a lot of useful features but also has a lot of bugs to go with it's features.
Sivka-Athlazan-Gnaddelwarz has good features and has ZZUL a great upload patch.
I hear lots of people speak highly of LSD mod too.

*With the exception of emule+ which is slower on my pc for some reason

I'm experiencing horribly slow dl'ing speed these last days. Any new mods to try? Currently using 30c sivka 10c6

I was using Sivka with 30b until last week and I was also dismayed to find that I was downloading about half what I would normally get in a 12 hour session. My total download speed rarely went above 20, and often stayed under 10.

So I went back to LSD with the 13a P4 version this time, and since then all has been pretty much back to normal. It's a shame, since I would have liked to stick with Sivka due to its features, though LSD comes pretty close.

Try the newest Sivka based on .30c. Sivka is one of the fastest clients for me, although I had some speed problems with eMule .30a based mods, including Sivka.

Currently using sivka 30c. One thing worth noting, if you're releasing stuff MCMLXXXVIII, I had terrible problems with hashes changing under eMule+ v1g & h so probably best to stay away from that.

However, I still get poor speeds from all mods. I'm lucky if I've ever been above 30Kb with any mod I've tried.
