Hello. I am new to this P2P stuff. I downloaded a file called:
Chain.Reaction.House.of.Horrors.German.DL.2006.PAL.RATDVD.by fenerbahce.ratDVD

Which is a zip file. After I unzipped, I see something that looks like a DVD but has file names:
StreamData.xml
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VSI
VIDEO_TS.XVO
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VSI
VTS_01_0.XVO
VTS_01_1.VSI
VTS_01_1.XVO
VTS_01_2.XVO
VTS_02_0.IFO
VTS_02_1.VSI
VTS_02_1.XVO

My PowerDVD or Nero Showtime or Windows media Player will not play these. What do I use to play?

OOPS Sorry. I found ratDVD at codecs.com so I can now play in Media Player but still not in PowerDVD which I prefer using. Is there a program that can convert back to a standard .vob Mpeg2 or maybe a DivX format?

TBH the simple answer is don't. I had a look at RatDVD about a year ago and the quality is pants.

Well, you could convert back the movie to its original dvd format, menus and all, and then play the disc with PowerDVD. There's a tool for the conversion already included in ratdvd, it's really easy to use.

i'd agree with the two, if your wanting to watch on a standalone you need to convert back to something much better (I think the xbox maybe able to play ratdvd but don't quote me).

george is right, in the future, i'd just avoid it altogether, it has no redeeming features but seems to be popular in non-english circles more so.
