What a great forum!
Please excuse my english, as I'm from Belgium (I speak French!).
I have a question (if you can understant it! Lol!).
How can I use the subtitles links?
I mean, for Asian movies for example, you always (often) add links for english subtitles, and that's really cool ..but, how to use it?

Make sure they are named the same as the movie (ie. Movie.YEAR.SOURCE.CODEC-GROUP.avi -> Movie.YEAR.SOURCE.CODEC-GROUP.srt/.idx/.sub/.rar)

Put them in the same directory as the movie with the same filename, bar extension and they'll play.

Make sure your not using a crappy player like windows media player. Use something like media player classic (google for it, aka. MPC).

.srt subs will be played automatically. You may need something called DirectVobSub if you want to use vobs in windows media player.


If you look in the menu of media player classic you should be able to turn subs on and off.
