I tried adding subs to a film (xvid)

& got these 2 errors in vdubmod, any ideas??

if I click ok on the first error, the second appears & that's it, nothing happens

I did: file>open video>video>full processing mode>filters>add>textsub2.23
and then the usual save as avi (xvid) and then the 2 errors pop up

why are you hardcoding subs?

i keep forgetting, your not doing this for a piss ant little standalone are you? mkvs work find on any pc or xbox, but those shitty little players are junk.


oh and having witnessed four other xbox setups since i last suggeted an xbox (each one had its charms, from a mass of network pr0n to a host of scripts like youtube browsing, to a collosal standing volume of tv episodes), i can not believe people don't consider or own them. If you have a lan and you link it up, its total pawnage. There is no better solution, even a pc isn't as good on the ui front. XBMC has a lot of work in it so it just feels right. Things like playing a video, playing display, and then it minimises to a window and you can continue to browse through and queue up more files, play an entire folder, move the movie behind the menu system.

no, I made this nice logo with aegisub & wanted to add it to a movie I was ripping, but vdubmod said no in the end. not a big deal after all, it was just a test
