Ok I downloaded emule, and I tried dwonloading a file but it isn't downloading and I read the FAQ about downloading and I am still confused as to what is going on? I know that may not be very specific but I am not sure how to use this thing

You're right that's not very specific at all especially considering that you won't even tell us anything even remotely specific about the file not downloading
