im new to this and was just wondering when i dl a movie and it goes in emule why doesnt the dl start right away? im dl one now and it just says waiting....thanks alot.

Hi, and welcome.

It supposed to do that . The file is put on queue till it finds an empty slot.
If u share more u get higher credit i think and dl should go faster.
Emule is slower than torrent but much better cause files last longer :wink:

Is the bar red or blue? More blue is better. Red is no sources.

Hey thanks for the reply......when i dl a movie it takes about an hour to start downloading....is this normal? thanks again.

Depends on how many sources there are, how those sources have their files priorized and the internet connections and random global settings.
Could be anything from starting instantly to having to wait a day, to completing within 2 hours or completing in about 88 days.
