Hello,

I just installed eMule V0.48a. Everything went just fine. I am connected as well but my download status is waiting. Progress bar Dark Blue.

Is it normal to wait for a while before a download can start?

Thanks in advance.

Yup, that is normal. Be patient, a download can take a few days, or even weeks. Dark blue means there are many sources, so this one will be in in a few days, I guess.

The more you download/share, the faster the download goes.

Hello again,

Sorry forgot to ask one more thing. I have VLC V0.8.6c installed but the PART FILE for VLC that I downloaded is for VLC V0.8.6b so my VLC is not recognizing eMule. Is there a new part file available for VLC v0.8.6c ?

Thanks again.

After you've completed a download, the PART, the PART.MET and the PART.MET.BAK will be saved as one AVI file. You can play that one without worries about your VLC.
