Hello,

I have 2 movies one .avi and the other .mpg that I just downloaded from eMule. Both movies have a very tiny part right at the beginning in RED in the progress bar. Even thu the rest of the movie is downloaded but I can't get PREVIEW or anything out of it. When I right click on the movie it shows that a preview is available but no video comes up.

Is there any way to watch these movies by some how skipping the TINY little bit of the upfront RED area?

Any and all the help is always and will be greatly appreciated.

the beginning of the file for avi contains all the header information which describes what the file is.

Have you been downloading these for a long time? You need to wait/get them to complete.

MPG you should be able to watch by copying the .part file and renaming to .mpg. It will however be corrupt and glitchy.

spudthedestroyer,

Thanks for a quick reply. I copied the part file as .mpg and tried to open it with all the players I have and still no video.

The .avi file I waited it to complete for days but it is not bringing the first tiny part (3 days by now). First tiny part is still RED.

Once again thanks for the HELP.

When was the last time you saw a complete source? Have you asked for a reshare?

Hi,

Well I don't know what you are talking about. I am still too new for all this. I just installed the eMule software and started downloading hahahah.

I really don't know how to check the sources. Where do I ask for ReShare and how?

Thanks for all your help.

well VLC opens up but the slide bar moves itself fast to the right and a little audio comes up no video what so ever :(

All other players say there is no video track in the file.

look at your download in emule for a minute, make sure you read all the information.

There are columns called "Last Seen Complete", etc. which obviously tells you when you last saw a full source. If you double click on the download it will expand into individual sources. If you see someone who has the bit you need, right click and send them a message asking to up the priority of the download.

As for reshares, there's a section at the bottom of these forums for a reshare.

I wouldn't recommend jumping the gun on a download, just wait for it to complete :)

just hold your mouse over the file...like this

you ask for reshare on the forum you downloaded it from...if you just found it open search eMule...you just have to wait and see if your lucky..or find another eD2K link with full sources...the file is finished when it is green...blue means sources...red means no sources... ...by the way can somebody reshare Berzerker and Nailgun massacre :P
