I've downed some vids off the NG's and the files are like this

name.avi.000
name.avi.001
name.avi.002

I've tries winrar but it says the archive is either in an unknown format or damaged.

Is this a problem with the uploader or do i need some other decompression program?

i know this one, double click the par2... quickpar rejoins it into the original avi.

Could be split using an archiver, but i've seen the quickpar split more often. Give it a try :)

Sometimes the par files rejoin them but i tried one earlier, it reported no errors but didn't join them. HJSplit sorted it tho.
