Subtitle workshop lets you play the moviefile in the program and then you can select lines from your textfile and press a START and an END button, which make the line of text start and end at the moment of your choice.

it also allows you to spellcheck your text & search for a specific letter/number/abreviation thus allowing you to manually change stuff thats missed by spellcheck. Its a very powerful tool & you should have an instruction manual in the download.
