Are you trying to hardcode subs? yuck :outsider:

I take it you got a poor standalone? See if there's a firmware to update the subs it supports and convert the idx and sub to that if there's no support.

For subtitle conversion i've used subtitle workshop.

If what youre trying to do is play a film with seperate subs, install vobsub 2.23

if you want to hard code in vdub, you need vdubmod to do this & with vobsub installed you'll see in filters vobsub & select this then load in your sub/idx.

@Spud, I've always used subresync in vobsub to convert sub/idx to srt. I tried to load a sub/idx into subtitle workshop & it came up with an unsupported filetype error :wacky:

BadBugs, interesting, were you using the latest? I'm pretty sure converting from sub/idx you do by OCR under options; it isn't text afterall :)

when you install vobsub2.23 be sure to click the + box next to plugins & install the virtual dub plugin or the filter wont be there
