No idea, but I didn't try to ask for help in their forums, I just switched back to sivka/athlazan. Those two have NEVER crashed on my computer.
It's always hard to find out why some mod is crashing, causes can be many, hardware and software as well. Perhaps it collided with some other application, or even with a driver, these things happen, so I guess trying to find the reason would be just a waste of time an deffort.

Actually yes. The only thing that stops me is no community sharing. But I think I can manage without it. With so many downloads I would get full speeds with or without it.
Why are you asking? Do you recommend it?

if you like TBH i'd definately recommend it (v4) the main reason i'm sticking with v3b is for the faster d/l speed,the community string in v4 didn't really affect everyone elses downloads from me within the community as i generally hand out friend slots as and when i am near my pc (quite often) and when releasing movies most here are always first to get in the queue for powershared files so that helps the only draw back i found with V4 was the slower d/l speeds (for me) the slower source finding and less sources saved but thats just me....PC_Arcade seems to be getting on with v4 so far so i'd give it a go if you like TBH set up

Can anyone reproduce this bug?
When I goto add someone to a friend slot, ALL my transfers drop to 1k each.
Takes about 30 minutes for them to return to normal.

That's what I'm using.
But seems fine when I make friend slots, then reload emule.
