rejoining files together

anyone know how to do this?
I d/l the black mirror game posted in the games release section and each cd has a bunch of files like this
ims-tbma.001
I have no idea what to do with them when I try to open one I get a message saying windows cannot open this file

It is a part of a .rar achieve (I think). You need all parts. Then winrar/winzip or the pirated archiver of your choice should do the trick.

Just another archive format like, zip or rar. I winzip should be able to handle most of them.

ok I'm going to look like a freakin airhead here but I have no idea what to do with this winace i installed it but what do I do to fix these files? I need a play by play here

Do you have all necessary files? You said you had one ending .001

You must have at least one ending .ace, .rar or .zip or whatever.

The last one in each cd ends with sfv is that it?

you could try just right clicking on that file and see if Winace will unpack it to a chosen location.

002 is r00
003 is r01
004 is r02
005 is r03
and so on
just open one file with winrar and then simple right click on what is indide and extract

when i right click on the first file in cd 1 the winace options i get are
add to ims-tbma.001 ace or add to...
which one should i choose?

sfv is just crc's of files
with programm PDSFV u can check if files r ok.

and about
001,002
as i remember Immersion always makes that.
it's just rar's

right click on file -> open with -> choose winrar -> all'll be ok

as i already said IMMERSION ALWAYS use such names for files...
strange u all dont know about this.

open file in any text editor
i file is rar u will see rar! in the begin
zip - pk
and so on.
