I'm on ADSL, which means that I constantly change my IP. It's a problem when running an ftp server or using webinterface in eMule (fantastic thing, btw). Do you know of any good, free DynDNS host, and even more importantly, of some good updating application? Previously I was using DynSite, but it's utter crap imo. I'd like something running "silently" in the background.
Thanks for any help.

I use http://www.dyndns.org.
Had no probs with them and they are very effecient, and offer a good range of services!
As for the app, the one that I use and is recommended is :-
Direct Update , for windows
At work at the mo so can't give ya link, but is on the mule

Same here, dyndns.org works like a charm. It's dynamic DNS is free, but you have to update it at least once in 28 days. I'm using ddclient (unix client) for updates and I'm satisfied with it.

dyndns + Casc' ADSL (in french and english)
I tried a few and Casc' ADSL works best for me: free, small, do what it's supposed to do
and the best thing is it works as a service (there is small program to configure, then you can close it)
so it's like fire and forget
you can either install it or just run from zip
(I use 'CascADSL Build 3252 beta')

Ok, using DynDNS with Casc (was too impatient to wait for Direct Update to dl from eMule). What I like about it is that it's a dialer nad ip updater in one.
Unfortunately, it does not seem to be working with webinterface - I can't open the page using my domain name. No such problem when I use my IP. I already checked everything - the IP is updated on start etc. Still something must be wrong. Any ideas?

Those two seem to be the biggest ones. Cascade supports both of them, so perhaps I'll try no-ip as well. Still going to try Direct Update.
EDIT: Deleted the part about my troubles, finally forced the goddamn proggy to cooperate. Thanks for help!
