what about making a post of the diffrent mods and do link to them, that would be a great idea if u ask me... also make it sticky in the general chat.... if this is done everyone can test out all the good one worth trying... and maybe a pol about the mods would be good also

the thing i look for in a mod is...

lowest use of cpu usage, fast download, quick connect/rehash, good commuity/friend system... thats what i can think of at the moment...

i use tbh0.29c never dared to try the other tbh..

there's a security loophole in anything less than emule .30 based clients...not sure the whole ins/outs of it but it's there nevertheless so definately would advise upgrading to at least a newer mod above .30a :wink:

There is no "best mod"...it's whatever works best for you :wink:

IMO The black Hand mod (v3b or v4) is "the best"...but thats my opinion not everyones

Okay, I'll give a try for BlackHand

I'm looking for a "best mod" for powersharing. Going to use it only to share the video nasties releases.

Any recommendations? Should it be some older version that still has the community feature... or something like that?

Haven't had a much experience about mods. Always preferred official clients.

the latest black hands have a powershare option in them that you can set and aslong as ppl want that/those files they will always get first chance at a download slot and you can also download simultaniously

whereas in the older mods/clients to powershare you really needed to be only sharing those files and was unable to download as your partials would still be requested from other clients

....other mods do also have this option (i think)
but give TBH a go and see how ya get on

not really but with the new emule dev's restrictions as to what ANY mod can now have it's making things a little harder for source finding/saving or community pushing.....IMO Black Hand V4 looks nice works great but not as good as v3b but that is again only my opinion

Then all new mods are crap. But I have to tell oyu it's not that bad. Friend slots and ZZUL compensate for the lack of community option.

Tried 0.30c Sivka.v10c6 mod first. Seems Ok for powersharing.
