I have to shut down the mule and restart it again.... again..same story.

I have only had corrupted downloads do such things. When eMule is completing the file, it checks if all chunks are OK. If they are corrupted, it throws those parts out and remains unfinished. You will have to re-download those parts.

However, what you describe sounds more radical. What happens to the ddownloads? They freeze? Or they get deleted? Or...? What's the difference between the downloads that survive and those who don't? For example: all downloads who survive are good movies, all that don't are p0rn :P

Hey..

Thanks for the reply. No.. instead of downlaoding or waiting, it appears error infront of these movies. When i shut down the mule and restart. it appears infront of them (Stopped) so I just have to click resume and they do...I alreday finished some of these movies that were having this problem and they are working great. What's bothering me is that this problem appears after sometime of downloading and when u restart the mule, everthing goes well for like 4 or 5 hrs!!!! when this problem happens, the mule become very hard to open and very slow..it takes like half a minute to see your downlods.
They are not P0rn.. they are normal movies.

Well, this problem eludes me. I really don't have a clue, maybe someone even more computerized can solve it.

One question still: when the mule becomes so very slow, is it the only process running? Or are other apps taking CPU time as well?

I've seen it on:
  • Fake part spreaders (not so common anymore)
  • Laggy / dodgy network connection
  • Failing hdd or bad IDE config (ie. check its in DMA mode!)
  • Dying ram

Might want to run a disk scan and check your ram, I was getting "errornous" just before my ram had to be RMAd.

Memory Tester:

Use windows disc scan to check the disc.
