What eMule servers do you use? I have a very low tranfer rate though I've been UL'ing a LOT. So I don't get it. Only one or two files at a time.... Do the specific servers have influence on this?

Not really. I would look at other things first:

-how many sources a file has
-new release?
-low id?
-everyone else is not sharing?
-traffic shaping by isp (need obfuscated connection)

If you queue up a very popular file like some new big hollywood release, what happens? Or is this all files no matter the source?

There's also sources which upload the minimum, so you get some files a t a rate of 100 bytes/sec, which of course takes very long.

Like karstmobile said, servers are not important, there is also KAD and Source Exchange. But if you have problems even with popular files, then traffic shaping by your isp is a possibility. Obfuscated connections can help, but there is a large list of ISPs that can detect and throttle even obfuscated emule connections.

It's mostly ED2K links from in here that are slow. Like now, most have between 1 and 21 sources, but not even one is downloading. If that's normal (having between 1 and 3 of lesser avaliable files downloading), I'll just have to be very patient, but if you guys usually have these lesser known movies even downloading at just 3-4 kb/s (the important thing being the fact that they're downloading and not just still) then something's wrong. I have a fine ID, it's not my connection I'm sure.

Just to check something: could you take a look at your Cumulative UL:DL Ratio in the statistics window? What does it say? For comparison, mine is 2.79:1 and I have no problems downloading movies.
But I noticed a few weeks earlier that I couldn't manage to connect to servers properly unless I turned on protocol obfuscation.

It says 1 : 1.81, but I just connected to a server now, don't know if it's supposed to be made after having been on-line for days or what.

Well it does not matter for the "Cumulative UL:DL Ratio". It only matters for the "Session UL:DL Ratio".
1:1.81 means that you have downloaded 1.81 times the amount of data that you uploaded. Meaning you have "almost" downloaded twice as much as you uploaded. That could be one reason for you downloading things a bit slower then others.
One solution would be to increase upload speed bandwith or to share more stuff. To even the UL/DL values.

Ah, then that's possibly it. Not something I did intentionally though, to me it has looked like I've always up'ed a lot more than i dl'ed. Thanks.
