Hi I'm new to this site. I am running Overnet and a buddy told me to come here and check out the video nasties collection and that I could click a verified link and it would start to download in my overnet transfers. Well I tried every link with overnet connected and all i get is "page cannot be displayed" and the dl's are not being started in overnet.

Any suggestions???

Well, you could just right click on the movie link you require and select 'Copy Shortcut' from the pop-up menu, and then just manually paste the link into your Overnet client. Not sure exactly where that is Overnet, as I use eMule, but in eMule, there is a window titled 'eD2K Links' in the Search tab, and you just paste in the links directly. There should be something similar in your Overnet client.

My suggestion is that you switch to eMule. It's really much better.

Welcome aboard, btw.

well the problem may very well be:
a) your browser can't interpret links
b) your registry hasn't been setup to pass the links to overnet

If you are using internet explorer or mozilla this isn't an issue, after installing this should pass the links. If you are using opera however, an extra step is needed. Check this link:

More general FAQ:

If it's the second there is an easy way to solve this. With emule you click take ed2k links in preferences. With overnet/edonkey you can simply install over the top of your previous installation. This used to retain all your settings, but restore the registry keys.

To be honest I haven't tried this with newer versions, emule is the program I use.

Try those and get back to us if it don't work :)
