Same here. I don't get it. Ok, last chance, if it doesn't work, I'm coming back to v4 forever.

It's been running for an hour and I got 2 downloads, 4kB/s atm. So far it's the highest speed I managed to get this time.

@Polityk.

I gave up on V5. Same problem

2/3 similtaneous downloads and a max of 11k

Moved back to sivka and got 5+ downloads and 50K within minutes of connecting to a server

Not sure what causes V5 to do that but it's a MAJOR problem!

Any-one else on version 5 have this?

hhhmmmm. I wonder what cuases it then? Perhaps it's a CPU specific problem or something?

Must be some common thing in mine and Polityk's mods

I liked version 5 alot, just not happy with the speeds!

And like i said when I moved back to sivka I was getting multiple downloads and high speeds instantly !

Again,

I'm with you.

Once KAD is not connected, it runs great.

Perhaps we could compare our configurations then. Mine is Athlon XP 1700+, MSI mainboard, 256 RAM, WinXP. Tried all versions of BH5.

Ah right -

Mine is :
Athlon XP 1700
PC Chips Main Board
512MB RAM
Windows 2000

Getting rid of the Athlon 1700 on/after xmas, not impressed with it!

Gonna upgrade CPU + Memory and get one of those flashing new age cases (Aluminium/Lights)

I'm the following.=)

P2-450 512cache
384sram
BX440-Tabor-MB
Windows XP Pro

Is an old gateway../same case.

I used vanilla or default.

Went back to v4, as SOmething was screwy after about 15 hours running V5.
HD was constantly swapping with my memory...

V4 installed now, all is good.

V5 has AMD and Athlon-specific versions, but they work just the same as all the other V5 mods. V4 works great, regardless of the variation.

Right, or you can just register on their forum. I didn't know it was such a problem to find TBH to download on the net.

I am running with an Athlon 1.3, 768 meg Ram, MSI mobo.

At first I could not detect the crap speeds cos I was grabbing rare files, but now I have noticed the speeds are shit. Gonna have a try with a few other mods when I have the time and see what happens. Could it be a flaw in TBH code or a more general problem with KAD?
