You could try JAP: http://anon.inf.tu-dresden.de/index_en.html

Maybe it works that way.

JAP works, but sucks a hell of a lot of bandwidth.
I'm sure it will be on newsgroups, you had a look?

Best bet for geolocation issues is rent a vpn. I'm in spain and know a couple of people that do that for catchup tv, iplayer, etc. Myself, I don't see the point and get the same material at high quality from newsgroups.

yeah, I tried JAP, but just got more annoyed.

I can always find the clips lying around somewhere, but would much prefer if I could hack their stupid racism.

oh well.. guess I'll have to live with it.

Tor will work well. A lot of people use it for torrents. Tor guys don't want people to use it for file sharing but you can choose to donate some bandwidth by setting it to also run as relay.

If you need correct setup info it's easy. Download the latest bundle for your OS.

Some emule clients work with tor and some don't. In emule proxy settings select HTTP or HTTP1.1. Put 127.0.0.1 in the address or host box. Since it's HTTP use 8118 for port. You can also use Socks5 with 127.0.0.1 and 9050 for port. IMPORTANT! Make sure to set firewall to block all incoming/outgoing emule connections. You ony want traffic through tor. In windows OS look where it says "Allow programs to communicate through windows firewall" and be sure emule is not checked.

Most people I know use it for torrents and then only for releasing. In utorrent use Socks5 127.0.0.1 port 9050.

I forgot. For web browser proxy you can open the network map and close any curcuit by right click > close curcuit until you get the country IP you want.

For example in a windows web browser you would set proxy to...

HTTP .....127.0.0.1....8118
Secure....127.0.0.1....8118
FTP........127.0.0.1....8118
Socks......127.0.0.1....9050
