First of all apologies to my betters for being an annoying noob.
I have just completed my first gknot rip, I followed the instructions almost exactly and got a 702 MB file (2 pass xvid). The only thing I didn't do was the compressibility check as this gave me an error "Failed to get data for 'max_bframes'". I already tried uninstalling and then installing the latest Gknot.
Is this normal, do other people put slightly less than 700 MB as the CD size just to be sure?
Or should I just go with it, I did a simulate in Nero and it didn't complain?

OK I've uninstalled the gknot codec pack (1.3) and installed 1.6, I really should have checked that first. I'll re-do the rip once I've got 12 hours to spare (only got a 1 gig Athlon). BIG thx to PCA and Spud, its peeps like you that make this community so grrrreat!
