hey,
Any anti-trojan recomendation/setting?
I'd like to know what settings/programs you use, if you dont mind. Not that i'm trying to find ways to get into your system by knowing your settings/progs.

I've had some trojan troubles, so i have been offline for a bit. I had to disconnect my main computer i use for donkey and hook up a old pc to the internet just to log and backtrace all the crap.
Its always the same couple blocks of ip#'s. i'd get like 1000's of connect attemps and rotating port scans a minute from the same #. I'd block it in blackice or zone alarm, and it would stop for a second, then restart on a different ip#, but the same block. It does this till my firewall crashes.

cerob1, multicq, and some trojan clones.

I run norton anti-virus corp edition and tiny personal firewall (all other firewalls just don't work well)

Other than that i simply avoid any obscure downloads, especially those that come from a search. Running regedit i do every other day so i can check what the other calls on start up (that avoids kiddy trojans)

I love McAfee firewall. It's stable, small and consumes little resources.
It has very good anty-intruder tool, allowing you to block ips that attempted port scanning for a specified or unlimlited time. If you turn off the alarms, it does this in the background.

I had some difficulties with configuration, but once you set it up, you really don't need anything else. Btw, I installed it because my Norton Firewall stopped detecting new applications. lol.
