I was flicking through the argos catalogue and came accross an interesting thing, digisenders that send a wireless signal from one source to the next. This got me thinking about the idea of plugging it into the pc to watch divx the way it should be, on a decent sized screen in comfort. I did a bit more research and found there are pc specific versions which are high quaity transmitters of picture and sound. Has anyone else thought of this and tried it. I have so many films i would rather watch from the comfort of my sofa on my widescreen that its a very exciting prospect. The only other option i was considering was buying an xbox and chipping it, a more expensive option, anyones experiences would be appreciated cheers

Two of my friends got this and it's cheap:

Works suprisingly well and there is 4 channels to choose from. There's Composite & stereo input/outputs and works with tv-out.

Another cool feature is that it passes remote-IR signals back to the main unit so you should be able to control your computer if you have the proper hardware.

Qualitywise, it's good. Walls is no problem, but people block the signal a bit and microwave owens could be a problem too..
