Nope. Heres how it works, I download MP3's and convert them to WMA, but I always check the MP3 first. yesterday it just decided to only play around 20 seconds and then throw up an error that was caused by lameacm.acm. When I renamed that file everything worked great again. I removed "all" my codecs and re-installed the Ace Mega Codecs pack and also WMP9 and BSPlayer along with PowerDVD 5, everything now works fine, but the lameacm.acm file was never replaced. Guess it is fine, just wondered if anyone actually knew what that little fucker was for, I assume something to do with audio.

I had that only from installing a CBR codec for encoding?
Was something I was linked to using DVDx.
Some other prog needed it, so I installed it.

Lame acm enables mp3 encoding with lame.dll in Virtual dub or other video programs.

Oh well, everything still works fine so I will just leave it.
BTW, who moved me and rename me? I feel violated LOL
Seriously tho, I realised afterwards I had put this in the wrong place, I think. My brain is going all gooey 2day.
