Looking for English subs for the entire trilogy

25 fps, extended editions, Elbish spoken parts only.

The problem is there are hundreds of releases and most of them with the entire dialogue, and even more are NTSC. I'm sick of searching, please help. :)

just use the subs "NANANANANA I'M A STUPID BITCH... I LOVE YOU... WANANANANA I SPEAK QUIETLY BECAUSE THATS WHAT I THINK ACTING IS.... NANANANA"

That should just about cover liv tyler's lines. :wacky:

That's exactly what I want to avoid. I know it's not much but finding the actual elven dialogue in the files is a PITA.

Spud: Agree, Liv sucks. :)

not really, you just check the time in the movie when the dialogue takes place hh.mm.ss & you just scroll through the srt to find that time

You got me wrong. I know how to do it technically. ;)

My problem is that I haven't watched the movie for some time now and want to watch it with proper subs because I want to enjoy it.

Watching it first to check the time and edit subs is not what I had in mind. :)

So, can anyone help?

I've been able to rip only forced subs (elvish) for the first dvd of the extended edition. try this and if they are in sync with your dvdrips, i'll rip the others subs for you.

I'll let you know if these work but I don't see why they shouldn't (at least after maybe some synching). These are PAL, right? :D

Just checked and they fit. :D

Would be great if you could rip the other five discs. :beerchug:

You know, I'm making 1 DVD AFRs of my LOTR DVDs and they don't have the subs I need on them.

EDIT: ROFL.

It's nice to have good tools at work ;)
http://www.4shared.com/file/2952381/440 ... _subs.html

I've noticed that some of the elvish dialogs are left untranslated in the three movies. here's more info (in case you wanted to make "The ultimate Elvish/Sindarin/Quenya/Khuzdul/Klingon subs for LOTR" :)): http://www.elvish.org/gwaith/movie_elvish.htm
