I saw a documentary on the BBC about a year ago about mainly boys in there late teens and twenties would lock themselves up in a room and wouldn't come out of that room. Most of the time they won't even have contact with their familymembers. It's a complete isolated life what they live.
It's a strange phenomenon which about 1 million of the japanese teenagers suffer from and sometimes lead to bizarre incidents,
