i think you'll find most movies released by people/groups here will supply the subs for a movie if they are present on the DVD,but a lot of DVD's (especially older movies) don't have subs.

Bassline's right. It's more and more difficult to find old movies with English subs, and don't even think about it when dealing with foreign DVDs :? But be sure that most of us rip them when they're avalaible.

as for Killer Klowns for instance, there are only French or Spanish subs. Don't ask why, just complain...

I think, those older movies (i mean even a hammer horror or campy shit) have english subs for "hearing impaired" and i have some rare movies which has it. mgm midnite movies dvd releases has it, i think. i know about killer klowns, didnt ask for a english subs for it. but just tried to reach some dvd-rippers to notice it.

cheers.

What I especially hate is when the dvd says that there are subs and there are none. French DVDs are the world leader for this kinda unhappy surprises

it's kind of hard to rip subs from a VHS ;)
but as requested subs wouldn't be a problem to rip afterwards and put them on a special category here on the forum or somewhere else to dl!

why dont we just make poll or someting for most wanted subs that never existed, which are able to rip from a VHS (i know its a kinda OCR thing)

Really there r some movies, especially which i mentioned in my first post. or anyone who reads this post could try if he has someting in his hand. or hers.

cheers.
