Manga/Anime-Style PC Games?...

Hope someone can help... ( I know this isnt strictly horror-related, but...

)
I was wondering if anyone knows of any Manga/Anime-themed PC games?
I played GhostInTheShell on PS1 a few years back and loved it!
Any other Flying-Giant-Robot-Type-Mad-Manga games about? :wacky:

Id prefer 1st person if poss, so the MechWarrior RTS games are out.
Please help!

eg mame,magic engine...
than you can have all the anime games you want straight from the network

I need some kinda list or site that lists the games we dont often get to see over in the west. But, and this is a BIG but, (

), I cant speak/read Japanese etc, so theres the prob!
I love Big Robot-type games, its just a shame that the Japanese, (and others), dont seem to think we in Europe will like em!

I only ever played on the PS1/PS2/Xbox, so I dont know which games were released for which platforms! Can you suggest the best emu's and what the support is for them?
Anyone know if the 1st person MechWarrior games were released on PC, and if so, were they any good?

ok here goes

for anything arcade ,u get MAME(Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator)

for SNES u get ZSNES

both can be found here(as well as most of their roms(all free )

MAME has some nice mech/robot/anime games like:Macross,Macross+,Mazinger Z,etc...

ZSNES is a super nintendo emu that has some fun anime games

KEGA is the best sega emulator(plays msys,mega drive,32x,segacd)

here(free of course) most of the roms are also on romnation,sega cd games aren't but can easily be found on the network

both zsnes & kega don't need installing.just an .exe you click on & it runs

and I've kept the best for last

magicengine:the ultimate pce/turbografx 16 emulator(which has the most animegames)

this isn't free but of course the key is on the network so ...

all the pce games can also be found on the network & to easily play the cd images I suggest you get Daemon Tools(a virtual cdrom player which works best with magic engine)

Well. I gave up on the EMU-front. Couldnt be arsed working my way thru the Kazillion titles to find those elusive Manga/Mech games!

Most of 'em wouldnt work anyway!
Did get a hold of 'Shogo' for PC, tho. A bit old, but still a TOP game imo! FPS, with cool-as-fook Mecha-On-Mecha Action!

I never give up on the emu front,just got myself a speccy emulator with a ton of games this week :mrgreen:

& yes,I know,it's hell going through allthose games potmunky,but sometimes it's worth it

I was gonna suggest Shogo MAD as well but I see you played it already. Shogo was wicked a few years ago and I wish Monolith would do an updated version with whatever their latest 3D engine is.

You may enjoy Slave Zero which is mindless giant mech action for the PC from a few years back.
