screencaps and some little descriptions-(No those stupid logos are not on the finished product, they are from the damn screen cap proggie). i did this one because there is an actual finishing/end point to the series, and number of books, and quite a bit smaller then my hp lovecraft compendium is turning into with all the extra's i keep putting in.

That's great! All ideas came to my mind are already in your module list. Don't spend too much straight time reading, you may hurt your eyes. I'll rip your head off! You may dye your hair to green, it'll suit you. Put fried jambon in a bread, tastes good. All features liked

...finally Thank You!

hehe, spud,
i thought it was meant as 'non horror movies' releases, as in misc, things not of the horror movie persuasion.

I speant the last 10 or so hours module-lizing this thing, so those who dont want to download the whole 450 at once can do it per module.
example-
-
-frontend(basically, the whole reason for this, the main program set)
about 20mb
hehe, my frontendium(basically the graphics, directory structure, cdisplay program, and lists of the unique filenames and where they go for each new module, etc). this is the thing that took me friggin hours apon hours to make(though i cannibalized some of my lovecraftium and other crap). i will put this up next, possibly direct download from my website since it is just my graphics and programing and small size. download this if you havent started the 450mb one, it will give you a better feel for what it is about. and if you already have a lot of the comics included in 450mb, you wont have to waste time redownloading them, you may just have to rename them and put them in appropriate directory.(yes, i wrote instructions on what exactly to do).

-the written works module(just have to link them) probably done in about an hour after i finish that frontend module above.
about 10mb
every written book i could find. i think i have them all in it.

-movies module
200mb for the trailors(i dont have them all) but probably not very big with the reviews/synopsis/pics sorts.
hehe, just trailors. want to have some reviews, synopsis, anything anyone wants to volunteer.

-character/cenobyte/creatures/mythology/etc module

-comic story arc module
for the comics series. in depth, spoilers, interpretations of plot meanings, characters, inconsistancies, that sort of shit. some of the stories i just didnt understand, etc, they made no sense. they may not have meant to. this was for the guys at comic-central. i dont think i impress them.

- the artwork module
just the fullpage images from the graphic novels. you know wich i mean.

most of these are almost completed, they will work with very, very little modificaiton of the 450mb v.10, i would have scratched the v.10 but i got a few dozen people already started, and it is easy to add the upgrades/plugins.

here is the framework/frontend for the whole dealie. i'm in the process of making each section its own module, that plugs in easily. i pre-made some directories, put in dummy and spacer files so an opening would be there, and what to rename each file with the unique filename i used.

ed2k: ClivepediumFrontend-litev.11.rar  [14.10 Mb] [Stats]

14mb is the size.
it has no comics, no movies, no music, just the frame. it works, it will show the covers and description of each comicbook, and shows the other parts im working on that can get plugged in.

-i'm leaving the 450mb up, it is compatable with these things.

-this clivepediumFrontend-lite v .11 is for people who already have the comicbooks in digital format. i put instructions on how and where to put them to make them compatable with my little proggie.

-next module will be the written works/bookpedium plug in.
probably take 3 hours.

questions?comments?suggestions?threats?

hehe, anybody finish downloading and then using this yet?
i am curious how it works on other computer, besides my own. i am still a bit new to this type of design, so i imagine there will be things i overlooked, missdid, or just fucked up. dammit, i'm just one man! 8)
hehe, i kid, there is a whole team of monkeysmashers working around the clock to bring you these fine products.

eh, finished the book plug in. its 10mb. slips right into the 'clive barker books' directory, replacing the htm linked to the 'module not installed' file with the text listing file and texts.

just about done with the movies section, i only have 2 trailors(part 4-bloodlines, and part 5 inferno) so if anyone has the trailors for 1,2,3,6 i'd take 'em and put them in, along with rawhead rex, nightbreed, lord of illusions, errrrrrrrrrrrrr, did he do any other movies? im not really a barker fan.

eh, i didnt just want to rip off the hellraisor/cenobyte website for thier info, if any aspiring reviewmiesters want to write up objective reviews/synopsis and forever be part of the clivepedium, let me know and i put it in. my info's would all be 'it was a decent film'. and i think more info then that would be wanted, especially with rawhead rex, wich wasnt a decent film.

hehe, i was kidding, i hope you knew. i guess somepeople may take something like that literally, but i kind of think everybody needs a new computer, the advances in technology and all.

seems i cant upload more that 20k, wich is odd, before the upgrade i could upload 20-30k, and download at 40max, though now i download at 90-100k, and upload 15-20.

i mean, its good for me, but seems like my isp cut my upload.

seems the clivepedium is getting around spread, that is all i got in my que, and the lite version, but only upped about 2mb of it all day.

hopefully someone will finish and use it soon, i need feedback, as i been pumping out plugin modules all day for little extra features, better graphics, that eyecandy shit.

eh, and if for somereason the prog only works on my computers, extracting the comic files is easy, they take up 433mb of the 450mb anyways.

As I said my computer doesn't need replacing....

maybe an updrade here or there....

I just got frustrated with that damn emule when my overnet has worked for me for quite awhile

:beerchug: to everybody that helped....

I will try a few others, maybe something will work better but for now my overnet is cruisin' at 45k and I am happy :D

hehe, no, that;s what it is supposed to do, destroy computers! didnt you see the readme file? it's the 'clivepedium graphicups compudestroyer v.1'
just kidding, of course.
i'd be surprised if it destroyed up your pc, though rather interested in how i managed to do that. my main concern is that it actually works right for people, or somehow the actuall comics arent even extractable after going thru emule.

mostly this is just a frontend,my contribution is about 16mb of the 450mb, the 434mb is all from the comic books. i just organized them, put them in directories linked thru the frontend to a comicbook viewer program, and left spacers for the plugins i made. if people liked the frontend, i would put the plugins up. if everyone says it is a complete waste of time, i wouldnt. i honestly think it's spiffy/nice, that's why i shared it.
of course this is all part of some grander scheme of mine, that i cant really recall at this time, but mostly it's just eyecandy i built, and was using this to test some code/structuring for future projects of my own that i might do.

errr, all the x-tra doodads and plugins i been making(each rather small, cept the movies one) make it quite a bit more content, though the 450mb version should keep you busy with just the comics, at least 40 hours of non-stop reading, and assuming you like the comics, why else would you download it?

eh, i be back.......

maybe it did destroy peoples computers.
errr, is it that bad of work nobody wants to hurt my feelings?
i'd prefer critisism to just plain silence/apathy.

errrr,
well,
i'm finishing up the hellraisor music video's plugin. yes, pinhead vs. lemmy at 5 card draw, music video called 'hellraisor' by motorhead. i vaguely remember watching it on mtv i think about when hellraisor 3 came to theatres.

aaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooogggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa

eh, just wanted to know if it works on other peoples computers. if i dont get responses, there is a distinct possibility my head will explode.

because.....
ive made more of them.......
many..mods..many more.....many...mods.. more of them, each more stupider(yeah, i know its not a word) then the one before, almost geometrically increases in dumbness, refining my technique, learning more, but i cant know what people want without honest responses.....
why?
because i have.........a plan!
an evil plan?
damn skippy
