Yes!

I have Beyond on crusty ole vinyl, the quality is so bad after all these years. I'll happily click on the release. Thx!

Can you post some info on the Zombie soundtrack.
Out of curiosity i dl:ed the one posted earlier in the thread (the one with Sequence 1, Sequence 2 and so on).
I've got another version that i could rip and release, it contains soundtracks from Zombie and Cannibal Ferox, on the same disc.

My OST is the original score of the movie that can be found on the Dutch DVD of the movie. It contains 30 tracks including dialogues, radio spots (there's even a radio spot for the Gates of Hell) and the main theme of the movie Contamination.

As for your OST, don't know if it's the same as this :

ed2k: Cannibal.Ferox.OST.rar  [49.44 Mb] [Stats]

but you can still post it :)

As for my other OST, hope this is gonna please some of you :)

ed2k: Bird.with.crystal.plumage.(Argento,.1970).OST.par.Bonnie_Parker.rar  [33.40 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: Cat.o'nine.tails.(Argento,.1971).OST.par.Bonnie_Parker.rar  [50.80 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: Inferno.(Argento,.1980).OST.par.Bonnie_Parker.rar  [42.35 Mb] [Stats]

I'll rip it in a day or two, there's some bonus shite on it that might be of interest.

I'll have your Zombie-rip. :D
Thanks!

And dammit, the Ferox too  .

WHOA! :D
Thank you very much!

Hehe, I'm not sure if I like LHOTL too much or just becoming way too obsessed with it. Absolutely loved Hess's music, though I usually am more towards metal music

Yeah I was obsessed with Last House for a while too - it was the third nasty I ever saw when I was probably too young for this kind of thing! I agree though this is amazing music (and I normally like hip-hop :?).

Glad you liked it! :D

What did you think of the bonus tracks? The first two were recorded for the film but never made it, and the last one, Promised Land, is a tribute to Pete Seeger and Johnny Cash.

Did you know David Hess even wrote a song for Elvis?!?!
What a guy!

The bonus tracks were awesome. I think they even might be my favourite tracks of the album, after the "main theme" 'The Road Leads to Nowhere' :D

Must buy this OST when I see it somewhere.

Really have to get my hands on to his album, 'Caught Up in the Moment'

Would really love to hear it :)
Just might prove to bit difficult to find it anywhere here...

Wow I didn't know he had an album out! Wonder what it's like?

You should get a copy because this is a nice CD - mine came autographed by Hess himself! The liner notes are quite interesting too. I can type them up if you want them so let me know...

I'm quite surprised this is still on sale because I bought mine about 3 years ago, and I thought there were only 1000 copies. Get one whilst you still can!

No idea. I hope it's similar to 'Last House on the Left' soundtrack material. More like those bonus tracks =)
This what it says on his home page:
Quote:
Hess' brand new CD, entitled "Caught Up In The Moment," marks the first solo release from this legendary songwriter in over two decades. Hess, who currently resides in San Francisco, considers "Caught" to be his musical autobiography, on which he shows himself to be a master storyteller - taking us on a journey from reckless youth to tender fatherly experiences. An expert at his craft, Hess still knows how to write a hit song, and his vocals are nothing less than captivating.

Listening to David's newest collection of musical masterpieces, one realizes, his early successes as a chart-topping songwriter were no accident. This man is a true master of his craft.

He's a poet - spinning words in rich layers -meaningful, haunting, surprising. He's a composer - with an ability to capture a mood, a texture, and any number of styles with equal grace. He's a singer - his voice hypnotic, seductive, captivating.

The picturesque atmosphere David creates with his songs makes them perfect for film, or simply as the soundtrack for your own mind.

Well... if it isn't too much trouble. Would love to read the linear notes. =)

  Only 1000 copies!? Guess, I'm not going to get this then ever in original format.
RocketCityRecords. and looks like the 'Limited Edition! - Last House on the Left Soundtrack CD' is sold out... ah, maybe I see it someday on ebay or something like that =)

That sounds cool! If it's like an autobiography, I wonder what the songs are like that reflect his exploitation movie days! Maybe I will buy this one day...

I'll type up the liner notes as soon as I get the chance - they might be done tonight or in the next few days but I'll get em done soon. :)

 I just had another look at the notes and there is a hell of lot more there than I thought there was, and to type all that is gonna take me ages!!

If you don't get a copy yourself though, i'll get it scanned by a mate and post it up for you so let me know what happens.
