Anybody else? Its gonna be a big task, and there are few I need to get, like a good DVD of Nohosonno. Phantom of the Opera I don't have, nor the Card Player. Four flies isn't on DVD, one can hope. And is there an HDTV cap of Jenifer? or a really good VDrip yet? Any of those you ghouls want first? |

need any help? unsuprisingly i already have all his movies on DVD except 4 Flies. there is already a 2 cd ac3 xvid rip of Non Ho Sonno in Italian in my Dario collection, I have the excellent UK release so if a 2cd English is wanted i can rip no problems? I have the UK release of the Card Player too what would your sources for there others be? there are a lot of diff versions of most of his movies on dvd and some from not so good prints |

Well the ones I need are the Italian WS uncut Nohosonno, and the Card Player. Four Flies I have in a very very very shitty VHS dupe, same source as the rip thats around (luminous video?). So if wanna pitch in Purple Nightmare, I suggest start with those 2, in AFR size. Gotta be AFR, with one audio stream. Italian Language preferably, but since Dario thinks of the American/UK audience, most of his movies' Eng dubs are really good. Oh and I have a good DV of "Bird with..." but its not the newest Anchor Bay(?) transfer. I have all the other Anchor Bay DVDs, which look great, but a few of them don't have Italian audio. I don't know if the 'Zombi' disc has ITA either, but it has 5.1, 2.0, and original mono. Phenomena is 5.1 Eng, as is Inferno. Opera has DTS and surround, but the case doesn't say if one is ITA or not. Susperia has an amazing Eng DTS and ac3 ITA. Cat O nine Tails has ITA, ENG, and FR. I never watched his films in Italian so ENglish is fine for me, but some hate dubs... Though to be fair, most italian movies have English actors in starring roles. Oh yeah, and fuck Phantom of the Opera, that movie blows and taints his entire filmography. So right now, Tenebrae is first, in Ita mono. |

as you mentioned it, i have "the church" as untouched 1:1 dvd iso downloaded some time ago (100 min., 1.85:1 anamorphic, italian DTS 5.1 and DD 5.1, english DD 5.1). if you need it i can dump it somewhere. |

that would be awesome tweye!!! My DVD of that got lost in a great disaster (Lost a box of DVDs moving ). Sounds like its from the same DVD too. Also, Purple Nightmare and I think English audio tracks are the way to go. And we are deciding which DVD editions are best. I was gonna do Tenebrae, but I see a longer version (albeit a few seconds, and maybe not-so-good DVD) exists. So first up is Inferno, then Suspiria, then Zombi, Cat o' Nine Tails, and Phenomena. Heres some DVDcompare links if anybody wants to pitch in. http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=2906 http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=2869 http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=2464 http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=2463 http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=2446#2 http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=1552#2 http://dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=1290 |

If you're going to be releasing them in English, would it be possible to also release the Italian audio tracks for people who want them in the original language? |

If your doing AFR, it would have to be original language not just one audio, otherwise the advanced file size keyword tag can't be used Of course you can do a 1/3rd DVDr dubbed, but that's kinda the opposite of releasing a quality rip. Dubbing is a waste of space. Its a bit more difficult with italian eurotrash though, since they dub the whole thing after anyway. Whatever gets the best lipsync/most covered language I guess is original. |
