Well, it looks like it was my fault. I forgot to tick the "Follow xyz standard" checkbox back on. Region 1 disc is in fact 1.85:1. :oops:

My region 2 DVD has "only" stereo audio but with a higher bitrate than the region 1 one. :cry:
