I just realized a couple of these were missing from the main page.

Here's
Meet_the_Feebles_[English_DVD]_[found_via_www.fileDonkey.com].avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0097858
Should be pretty well spread, I completed it a while ago.

I found tons of different links to Braindead, but this one seams to be the only well spread english version:
Braindead.(1992).(Osloskop.prv.pl).avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0103873
Very easy to get, since it has been on the SR mainpage.

Heavenly creatures has two different links:
Heavenly Creatures (1994) Kramerica.avi
Heavenly_Creatures.avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0110005

The rest is either on the main page, or simply not horror.

Not in the UK. Britain was the only place it was available uncut. BBFC took it for wat it is, a big joke (i mean it doesn't even attempt to be serious). The original release was cut in the US and australia if i'm not mistaken, i think they've cottoned onto the fact that the film was not a plot to get everyone to lawn mower zombies to death.

That's the only time the BBFC has done something sensible :)

i think we call them 'mom and dad'.

i think once something gets past the movie theatre stage it more than likely wont be cut/censored unless its done deliberately to sell an 'uncut directors' version later. I think the begining of brain dead was cut because not many americans would have understoon the royalty thing.

I'm not a fan of the movie, so i might not have the facts correct. I thought this was 2 movies put together by jackson, the first few minutes was a different film than the zombie parts.

So you have no form of formal censors? Seems strange, as most other nations do. A video recordings act here means that all videos have to go through the BBFC, which censors film, video and video games as well as radio programs. ITC censor TV (very relaxed).

Basically this is just to cut out things like drug usage, illegal acts (ie showing u how to break into a car), and extreme/graphic violence. BBFC used to be really bad, but they just let a lot of stuff through uncensored now.

I would have thought that congress passed some form a censorship act, and that films under go a certain form of review before release judging by the the nature of American politics (right-centre and interfering from what I've learnt). Maybe it's done depending on which state your in?

Hi,
I thought that the american version of the BBFC was the MPAA

http://www.mpaa.org/

These dudes seem to take care of programming and movie ratings, but i dont think it is as mandatory as the BBFC. So which version of braindead is on here, the cut or uncut?

Cheers
